Initial Visit

New Patients can book their initial visit here.

When you call to book an initial visit for chiropractic or massage therapy you will be asked to provide some intake information including your email. We will then send you an email with our intake form to be filled out and emailed back to the clinic. If you do not have access to a computer; we just ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill out the paperwork. When you arrive at our clinic you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists. If you have benefits you will be asked to sign an additional form giving us consent to bill on your behalf. We ask that you bring your benefit card with you, so that we can scan the information. We direct bill to most insurance companies.

Initial visits with the massage therapist are an hour and include a brief history and examination of areas of complaint. The massage therapist will then tailor the treatment to best suit your needs.

Initial visits with the chiropractor are an hour in length. First, they will perform a thorough health history. If it is deemed necessary the chiropractor will perform x-rays of the needed areas. We have a digital x-ray unit in our facility. Next, they will perform an examination. We ask that you wear stretchy clothing to make the examination easier. The examination consists of posture; weight distribution; neurological examination; balance; range of motion; palpation; and strength tests. Next, we sit down with you and briefly explain what we think is going on; and what we would like to do in order to help. After this we go over the consent form with you and sign it together. Lastly, a treatment may be performed on the first visits depending on patient and practitioner preference.

Follow up visit to Initial:

On the second or third visit the chiropractor will sit down with you and go over all your results from the initial visit. The chiropractor will also give you a write up of these results to take home with you. During this time the chiropractor will also go over your home based exercise program. Lastly, you will receive a treatment session during the follow up visit.

Continuing Care:

The chiropractor or massage therapist will give you recommendations on the best plan of care based on your results. Chiropractic treatment sessions are approximately 15 minutes in length; while massage therapy treatment sessions can be 30 minutes; 45 minutes or 60 minutes in length. We are a family practice and do encourage people to bring their children with them to appointments if needed. We have a play area just for kids and a fish tank that children always look forward to seeing.
